Part of me thinks there may be a RoboCop reference in here somewhere, but aside from the helmet design, that’s where the reference ends. Their superpowers are also the same because it’s inferred that Gazerbeam’s eye laser wrote the word Kronos on the cave wall in Incredibles.

From the suit to the classic visor, Gazerbeam is a clear reference to the X-man, Cyclops. Now that the second movie has been released, I would like to share my own take on the references and homages paid to superhero comic books and movies made in this film through their new characters. Then I started to see references everywhere. But it wasn’t until I watched the honest trailer for this movie that I saw the gigantic reference to the Fantastic 4 in this film.
