that’s more of “I made a game based off a series I really enjoy.” like to me it makes no sense to do that because in my opinion that’s like saying “I made a game better than the source material” which I guess is certainly possible but if I’m going to play a so called “fan made game” I’d rather it be.a game with an original story, original world, some original characters. Some games are pretty much the exact as the source version (like a Pokémon fire red omega type game) where it’s not their map, not their story, not their world etc. I might be using the word incorrectly then (sorry) but I sort of explained it in my previous comment but I guess what I mean is:
